How to Read a CBD Product Label
A line-by-line walkthrough of the information printed on a typical CBD product.
Start with the quantities
Two numbers matter most: the total CBD in the pack, and the amount per serving. A 1000mg bottle is not stronger per drop than a 500mg bottle if the bottle is twice the size.
Read the ingredients
Ingredients are usually listed by quantity. Carrier oils, flavourings and preservatives should all be listed. If a product does not publish a full ingredient list, treat that as missing information.
Look for testing information
Many brands publish batch testing results. Check that the batch on the label matches the report and that the report is recent.
